The guidelines provided in Liturgiam Authenticam ensure a translation that follows the original Latin text more closely so that its full meaning may be better appreciated. At the request of the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments, this new ritual book follows the content and structure of the Ordo Confirmationis.
